Stansted airport is well served with public transport links and there are trains that run directly into the airport building from Londons Liverpool Street Station and other East London Stations such as Stratford which is one of the main gateways to the site of the Olympic 2012.

Trains to liverpool Street station are frequent, running every 15 minutes with a journey time of around 45 minutes. Tickets are currently around £18

Trains to Stratford run hourly and stop at several stations on the way giving a journey time of 1 hour to Stratford. Tickets are currently £17

There is also a cross country service running to Cambridge, Birmingham and Leicester run every hour. Journey times and prices vary but Birmingham is 3 hour 25 minutes.
